The fishery

Quiet lakes, looked after for the fishing

Morgans Farm Fishery sits in open countryside near Ingatestone, Essex. The lakes are sheltered and easy to fish, the swims are looked after, and the rules are there to keep the fish healthy and the banks pleasant for everyone. It suits pleasure anglers, families and session anglers alike.

Stay over in one of our lakeside lodges and you can fish into the evening, then relax by the water, with two lodges offering a private hot tub.

Common questions

How much is a day ticket?

Day tickets are £12 per angler, with a £10 concession rate for juniors, over-65s and registered disabled anglers. Evening sessions from 4pm are £6, and night fishing is £25 when booked in advance.

Do I need a rod licence?

Yes. Every angler aged 13 and over must hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence as well as a fishery ticket. Anglers under 14 must be supervised by an adult.

How do I book night fishing or a lodge?

Night fishing and lodge stays are booked in advance. Call us on 07712 539577 or send an enquiry through the contact page and we will confirm your dates and the swim or lodge.

Can I bring a guest?

Guests are welcome with fishery approval. Guests can be added at £5 each for a day session and £10 each for a night session.

Are dogs allowed on site?

No. To keep the banks safe and the fishery quiet for everyone, dogs are not permitted. Barbecues, open fires, loud music and swimming are also not allowed.

Do the lodges have hot tubs?

Two of our lodges include a private hot tub at £155 per night. We also have four standard lodges at £140 per night, all set beside the lakes.
